FUN FACTS

The windows in the front of our building are Frank Lloyd Wright Luxfer Prisms and they are designed to disperse the incoming light inward and upward on the walls and ceilings rather than the floor.
Representing the largest collection of significant 19th century commercial architecture in Dubuque, our building and district was also the site of Dubuque’s first center of commercial activity.
Our building was once a telegraph office (upstairs) and grocery store during the late 1800s and then a wholesale drug firm from 1909-62.
This building and area has been re-evaluated as a part of the America's River Project Phase 3.
We are delighted to add to the history as a bar and restaurant with some historical yet modern flare.
